End of Year Giving
FESCO’s mission is to help homeless families move toward self-sufficiency. Our goal is to end family homelessness in our community.
By committing to monthly support, you become a critical part of the community taking responsibility to make family homelessness history.
Did you know that in Alameda County there are over 7,000 unsheltered people? You may be wondering how you can make a difference so that no child goes without a safe place to sleep. At FESCO, we believe that all families deserve a warm meal and a safe place to sleep. Your support helps us provide resources to those that need it most.
Meet Rose, Jason and their three young children – After leaving an unsafe living environment to protect their family, they found themselves with no place to turn but an Amtrak Station. For three long days they huddled together in the cold, empty corners of the station while searching for warmth and safety. Then a kind stranger shared a lifeline: the number for FESCO.
Today, families like Rose’s are not just surviving—they are thriving! In this newsletter, you’ll discover how your contributions have empowered families to find homes, secure jobs, and build brighter futures. As we say at FESCO, “ When we work together in a strong community we can make the impossible possible.”
We are happy to report that Rose, Jason and their three children have moved into their own apartment and are enjoying their own place to call home. Your generosity truly transforms lives by providing vital services like food, shelter and mental health support. At FESCO, we empower families to break the cycles of poverty and marginalization, and we can’t do it without you.
