When we think of dedication, Leo and Gloria Wilkinson immediately come to mind. The Wilkinson’s kindness and dedication have supported FESCO for over 20 years. Leo was elected as Church Representative of the New Bridges Church in 2011.
The Wilkinson’s support FESCO’s mission to support homeless families as they move from crisis to stability, end their homelessness, and find a place called home. They’re doing their part to eliminate the homeless problem in our community, especially where small children are involved.
The Wilkinson’s love being FESCO Shuffle Walk & Community Picnic committee members. They enjoy their involvement in this event and know that contributors — either monetary or in-kind — appreciate the results of the valued programs FESCO provides.
They believe the FESCO staff is truly dedicated to working together to help families in need.
Thank you Leo & Gloria for your support, dedication, and giving spirit that contribute to making this world just a little bit better!

FESCO, making a difference since day one. In its founding documents in 1986, special emphasis was placed on keeping families together during their period of homelessness. Thus, in addition to serving single mothers with children, FESCO serves single fathers, two-parent families with children, and teenage males as part of a family group. FESCO remains the only Shelter in Southern Alameda County that serves families in all of these configurations.
